My boyfriend likes the noodles here , he takes me to the restaurant. The environment looks great, I mean , it looks tidy. The food is plenty, and price is reasonable and not expensive. My dish is gong bao chicken. Honestly, as a Chinese, gong bao chicken is really bad. They use a lot of ingredients to make it, but almost ruin it, it seems boiling all of vegetables and mixed with sauce…It just takes away, don’t expect too much.
Sun Ning Takeaway in Christchurch is an absolute gem! I recently tried their combination fried rice, combination fried noodle, egg foo young, paua fritter, and hot dog, and I was blown away by the taste and cheap price, not to mention the incredibly huge portion sizes! Seriously, the portions are insane. My wife and I had to work together just to finish a single-person-sized fried noodle. Each dish was packed with flavour. The combination fried rice and noodles were particularly delicious, with a generous mix of meats and vegetables. The egg foo young was fluffy and satisfying, while the paua fritter and hot dog added a unique taste as snacks.
Beyond the fantastic food, Sun Ning offers great customer service and impressively fast serving times. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Plus, there's plenty of easy street parking nearby, making it super convenient to pop in, grab a meal, and go. If you're looking for great-tasting food with big portions, Sun Ning Takeaway is the place to go. Highly recommend!
I love the Chinese food here, the best in Chch so far. Every time I try new menu and never get disappointed. One portion can eat for 2 person. My favorite is combination fried rice.
The restaurant is clean, spacious and quick service.
Very impressed with the batter they use for their fish. Its triple fried which leaves a unique crispy batter that I have never come across before at a local fish and chip shop. Will definetly come back again.
Absolutely Great value for money got the combination fried rice and the meat portions were big will only be buying my fried rice from there from now on well worth $19 and big enough to feed me and my two kids and still have left overs thumbs up for sure to this restaurant 👍👍
